Project Objective

Issho Cafe brought us on board to manage their social media but from the start, we noticed one tiny hiccup. While their existing brand was soft, charming, and totally on point for a Japanese-inspired dessert café, the cutesy fonts they used just weren’t cutting it for everyday content. Great for logos, not so much for legibility on Instagram stories. Our task? Respect the original brand identity while giving it a practical refresh to better support day-to-day content creation.

We kept the essence of Issho - warm, playful, and oh-so-sweet - while adjusting a few key elements to make the branding more usable across digital channels. With clearer type choices and a few updated assets, we gave their visuals the flexibility they needed without losing the brand’s personality.

Happy with the result, the team at Issho asked us to design their menus and signboards too, bringing consistency across their customer touchpoints, both online and in-store.
